Sports and Social Organizations. Singles Groups Denver Singles plans lots of fun events in the city. Check out their 2004 calendar. Singles on the Go is a great resource for finding other clubs and groups in the area. Amazing Singles has some great resources too. Skiing The Slalom Gates Ski Club offers great ski trips at great prices. The Slalom Gates Ski Club was started by Gates Rubber Co. employees but is now open to all friendly, responsible skiers. There are currently approximately 125 members, about half singles and half couples, with a close to even male/female ratio. A one year membership is only $35 (including new member recruiting fee). Schussbaumers - The Schussbaumer Ski Club owns a Chalet on the road to Peak 8 in Breckenridge , Colorado that sleeps 72 people, with separate floors for men and women. The club is a private ski and social club, with mostly single members from Colorado's Front Range (Denver, Boulder, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins and surrounding cities). All members must be 21 years and older and live in Colorado's Front Range. Hampden Avenue. 303 694-9189 Cycling Rocky Mountain Cycling Club is a premier road bicycling club for the Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region, which offers a full range of rides for the moderate to advanced cyclist. The group currently has over 300 members, was created to cater to active, enthusiastic cyclists of intermediate and advanced levels and interests Rocky Mountain Cycling Club Outdoors: Colorado Mountain Club: The state's premier outdoor organization and one of the largest outdoor recreation, education and conservation clubs in the country. With the CMC you're about to get a lot more fulfillment out of our mountains and meet many others who share your interest in the outdoors. The group sponsors many trips, classes, and seminars dedicated to wildlife and geology study, outdoor photography and art, and other subjects for its 10,000-plus members. Activities are planned to cover a wide spectrum of interests, both indoor and outdoor. Outdoor activities include hiking, bicycling, volleyball, tennis, snowshoeing, skiing, and car camps, just to name a few. Please note that outdoor activities are planned for beginning to intermediate skill categories, so you don't have to be an expert to take part. Indoor activities include theme potlucks, informational seminars on various topics, game nights, and dining out groups. Indoor and outdoor activities take advantage of seasonal opportunities to the fullest extent possible. CMC Trailblazers is the social, sports and outdoors section of the Colorado Mountain Club for the 20-40 age group (plus or minus a few). They go beyond the normal hiking and snow adventures of the club to create a network of peers who can be contacted for many different sport and social activities. In addition to monthly happy hours that attract over 50 people per event, they several monthly dinners, wine tastings, movie and dance nights, volleyball, BBQ's, and river trips.
